Summary

The Dutch in the 1600’s were very successful.  The success didn’t just come to them, they worked really hard to become powerful and to create a strong economy.  They were very smart in their ways of business, and they knew what the people wanted.  They were a type of “Security” for the people.  The people believed in the things the Dutch wanted to pursue.  The Dutch accomplished many things.  They created the best banks in Europe, by guaranteeing peoples money and by creating checks into their banks.  The Dutch were also good at creating inexpensive products by buying in bulk, lower prices for the basic food groups, and by cheaper shipping.  The Dutch seemed to spend their money on unnecessary things like tulips and then Cromwell defeated the Dutch merchant marine and soon ended the Age of Dutch domination.
